Kids love to be outdoors so why not plan outdoor lesson plans that showcase the scientific nature of the world? For example, teachers could send their students to the field to visit the nature center and let an expert explain the natural phenomenon and its relationship to animals and plants. Another option is to go on a nature trek with your students in a wooded area, and then point out the various things to observe or how much vegetation is in the area that is sunny as compared with dark forest areas, or take a sample of the water in a pond to identify requirements

Of course, the process of learning about natural science does not need to be confined to the classroom. Teachers can have tadpoles in the classroom, and let students watch them transform into Frogs. The same principle could be applied to caterpillars or butterflies. Making a terrarium using different kinds of plants or planting seeds and watching the growth of these in time are some other ways that teachers can incorporate into lesson plans for students studying science.
